Welcome to my very first podcast episode! This is Episode 0 - a quick “Hello World!” to test all the technical setup and publishing workflows.
What This Episode Is About
This short 26-second episode serves as a technical test to ensure everything is working properly across all podcast platforms. Think of it as the equivalent of a developer’s first “Hello World!” program - simple, functional, and focused on making sure the basic infrastructure works.
Behind the Scenes
Publishing a podcast involves quite a bit of technical coordination:
- Setting up hosting and RSS feeds
- Configuring distribution to multiple platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, etc.)
- Testing audio quality and encoding
- Verifying metadata displays correctly
- Ensuring all the submission and approval processes work smoothly
Rather than launch with a full-length episode and risk technical issues, I decided to start with this quick test to iron out any kinks in the system.
